Next Steps

  • 1) Salvation

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” – John 3:16 (NIV)

Sin has separated us from God, and there’s nothing we can do in our human strength to get right with him. That’s a devastating reality. But the Good News? There’s nothing we can do in our human strength that can separate us from the love God has for us in Christ Jesus.

Our past failures and sins often make us feel disqualified from God’s love, but the truth is that no matter what’s in your history, you qualify for salvation through Jesus. Jesus already did all the work to get you right with God. All you have to do is receive him.

  • 2) Baptism

Baptism is a public expression of your decision to follow Jesus. Through the act of being immersed underwater and being brought back up, you are identifying with the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus.

  • 3) Formation

A critical practice for our congregation is daily prayer. We strive to live unhurried lives in the presence of God, he in us and we in him. We use a common guide to lead us into that effort. You can download our current daily guide by clicking the button below.

  • 4) Group

There are no lone ranger Christians. Though faith is personal it is not private. The Christian faith has always and will always find expression in the context of relationships. To avoid being an anonymous crowd that occasionally gathers together we intentionally pursue authentic, non-judgmental connection with each other.

  • 5) Serve

Everyone has a gift to share with the community of faith. It might be an obvious gift like musical talent or teaching the Bible. But it might also be a less obvious talent like administration and organization. We need everyone’s contribution if we are going to fully become what God has called us to be.

  • 6) Scripture Resources

We are regularly engaging the scriptures as a church. We read through books of the Bible as part of our personal practices of formation. You can join us in our current reading by clicking the link below.
